Dr. Catherine Darley is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in the state of Washington (license #NT00001169).
Dr. Darley is a graduate of Bastyr University, College of Naturopathic Medicine. 
Catherine obtained specialized sleep medicine training at a one month intensive preceptorship at Stanford University Sleep Disorder Center. 
She has attended many annual SLEEP (APSS) meetings, a joint venture of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the Sleep Research Society, and participates in their Continuing Education courses.  
She has also presented on sleep at the annual SLEEP meeting, and at the annual meeting of The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
Catherine has a B.S. and B.A. from The Evergreen State College.  
Sleep health has been a longstanding interest since her college days.  
Catherine's first experience doing sleep research was her senior project on the sleep of high school students on different school schedules.  
From there she had the opportunity to work with Dr. Mary Carskadon, a leading researcher on children's sleep.
During medical school Catherine worked with patients at Virginia Mason Medical Center, conducting overnight testing, called PSGs.  
She also worked on research regarding the sleep attitudes of those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  
Catherine was pleased to present that work at the Sleep meeting in 1998.
For Catherine, pioneering the field of naturopathic sleep medicine provides a unique and valuable perspective on sleep health.
